Baked Figs with Honey and Cinnamon

A great way to lightly sweeten and use organic figs and this can work well with organic apricots, organic peaches, and organic plums too or make with end of summer fruit that may be less than perfect when eaten fresh.

Serves 4

Organic Ingrediens

8 firm  figs or other fruit of choose

2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

2 tablespoons dark honey

Cinnamon powder

4 mint leaves


Preheat oven to 180 degrees.Wash the figs and dry. Cut them in half and place closely together in a shallow baking dish.Drizzle with the honey and vanilla. Sprinkle the cinnamon all over. Bake until softened, checking them after 10 min.Figs that are riper will cook faster. Place 2 figs per person in small bowls. Top with a mind leaf if you like.
