Quinoa Peach Puree

Quinoa has one of the highest protein ration of any grain.

Quinoa contains all 9 essential amino acids, and this makes the perfect protein.


1 pt water (600ml)

6oz quinoa (175g)

1 peach, peeled and chopped


Boil the water in a pan, over medium heat. Add quinoa, cover with a lid and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes, until the water has been absorbed.

Puree in a food processor, adding the peach.

Cool before serving.

Note: You can use cooked vegetables or fruits instead peach to taste.
