Trout in Clay Pot


The way this clay pot cooks brings out all the flavors and creates a delicate flavor for the fish.

 Serve 4


4 organic trout fillets

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon fresh black pepper

4 branches fresh savory or thyme,chopped

1 branch basil, chopped

2 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup white wine

1 carrot sliced

juice from 1 lemon

1 teaspoon whole black pepper



Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Wash the fillets very well.

Place 2 branches of savory and basil on bottom of clay pot. Place fish on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add the rest of savory, the carrot, oil , lemon juice and the wine. Mix all the ingredients.

Put the cover and bake for 20-30 minutes or until the fish is done.

Serve with light vegetables.
