Dragon Fruit Salad

Pitaya, also known as the Dragon Fruit is high antioxidant content which helps prevent the formation of cancer causing free radicals; fiber to aid digestion, reduce body fat and cleanse toxins; protein to enhance metabolism; and vitamin C to boost immune system performance. The health benefits of dragon fruit has also been known to lower and stabilize blood glucose levels for people who suffer from Type-2 diabetes, while also decreasing levels of bad cholesterol.

Ingredients

1 pitaya

1 orange

1 cup cantaloupe, cubes

 

Directions

Cut in half pitaya and scoop out the flash and seeds and seems much like a kiwi fruit. In his skin combine melon, orange, pitaya and serve.
